About Winnipeg Goldeyes
Professional baseball returned to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1994 when the Northern League welcomed the Winnipeg Goldeyes. The Goldeyes replaced the Rochester Aces (Rochester, Minnesota), one of the Northern League’s original six members from the league’s inaugural 1993 season. The present-day Winnipeg Goldeyes are a member of the 12-team American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.
